Vials are suitable basically to inject samples from an autosampler. Autosampler needle pierces through the cap during injection and withdraws the required aliquots of sample from the vials. Amber glass is useful in preventing the sensitive analyte under investigation from exposure to UV light. Screw top vials (volume 15 mL, amber glass vial, O.D. × H 21 mm × 70 mm) are available as hole caps for use with sealing septa. Caps are offered in polypropylene and can withstand a temperature of 135°C. Includes PTFE/silicone septa which can be used with most organic solvents except chlorosilanes.
