General description

Hydrochlorothiazide is an antihypertensive and a diuretic that is used for the control of hypertension.

Application

Hydrochlorothiazide may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations by chromatography and spectrophotometry.
