Biochem/physiol Actions
PAK7 is a PAK family kinase that contains a CDC42/Rac1 interactive binding (CRIB) motif at the N-terminus and a Ste20-like kinase domain at the C-terminus. PAK7 has been implicated in the regulation of cell morphology, motility and transformation. PAK7 is moderately expressed in adult and fetal whole brain and in all specific adult brain regions tested.

Solution in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 0.25 mM DTT, 0.1 mM EGTA, and 30% glycerol.
Other Notes
One unit will incorporate one nanomole of phosphate into the peptide substrate CKRPRAASFAE per minute at 30 °C and pH 7.2 using a final concentration of 50 μM [32P] ATP.
