pH Test

In water analysis the pH value plays a very important role in how other substances behave. The test can be used for monitoring the pH value in aqueous solutions, beverages, e.g. wine, after dilution and food after sample pretreatment. The Reflectoquant pH tests are suited for all media in environmental analysis and in industrial in-process controls. The reaction zones of the test strip change color depending on the pH. The responsible indicator is chemically bound to the zones and hence does not bleed. The resulting color is evaluated reflectometrically on the RQflex. For tests for other parameters that require a specific pH range of the sample (e.g. Spectroquant, see instructions of use), we recommend the use of Reflectoquant or the semi-quantitative MQuant pH test strips as pre-test.
