Application

D'usage général en bactériologie, adapté à la culture de divers micro-organismes.
L'extrait de levure est utilisé comme constituant de milieux de culture microbiologiques pour divers micro-organismes et dans une variété d'applications de génétique moléculaire.
Select Yeast Extract has been used:
  • as a component of nutritive medium to culture the parasite from the egg to the third infective larval stage
  • in yeast extract peptone dextrose (YPD)-medium/YPD agar and buffered complex glycerol (BMGY/BMMY) medium to culture Pichia pastoris transformants
  • to prepare nutrient medium and growth medium for the larval development assay (LDA) using gastrointestinal nematode parasite eggs

Other Notes

Portion soluble dans l'eau des levures autolysées avec des vitamines du complexe B intactes. L'extrait de levure est un mélange d'acides aminés, de peptides, de vitamines soluble dans l'eau et de glucides pouvant être utilisé comme additif dans les milieux de culture.
