Application

Zinc sulfate heptahydrate may be used to prepare:
  • Zinc tris(thiourea) sulphate (ZTS), a semiorganic nonlinear optic (NLO) material that may be useful in laser fusion experiments and in second-harmonic-generation (SHG) devices.
  • Highly pure zinc oxide nanostructures via a precipitation method for use in catalytic reactions.
