General description

Triacetin is a triester of glycerol and acetic acid. It is commonly used as a biodiesel additive since it improves the properties of biodiesel such as viscosity, pour point and cloud point.
Certified pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to pharmacopeia primary standards
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Green Chemistry. This product can replace highly toxic diluents in membrane preparation and thus aligns with "Less Hazardous Chemical Syntheses". Click here for more information.

Application

These Secondary Standards are qualified as Certified Reference Materials. These are suitable for use in several analytical applications including but not limited to pharma release testing, pharma method development for qualitative and quantitative analyses, food and beverage quality control testing, and other calibration requirements.

Analysis Note

These secondary standards offer multi-traceability to the USP and EP primary standards, where they are available.

Ion Mobility: TWCCSN2 value of 146.3 Å2 [M+Na]+

The collision cross section (CCS) measurement was provided by Waters Corporation, using the SYNAPT XS mass spectrometer.
For a description and overview of how ion mobility enables the measurement of the CCS of an ion visit ims.waters.com.
Further information on the SYNAPT XS mass spectrometer can be found on the IMS microsite and product webpage.

TWCCS measurements are expected to be within 2% of this reference value.

The current study determined the extent to which the desorption of lipid-based formulations (LBFs) from a mesoporous magnesium aluminometasilicate (Neusilin®-US2) carrier is governed by drug properties, LBF composition, and LBF-to-adsorbent ratio. A secondary objective was to evaluate the impact of
