Application
In vitro transcription with T7 RNA polymerase produces transcripts 100, 200, 300, 400, 600, 800 and 1,000 bases long. The transcripts can be labeled by including biotinylated, radioactive, or other labeled rNTP′s in the reaction. The markers are useful for RNase protection assays or for electrophoresis of low molecular weight RNA fragments.
