This application illustrates the analysis of a sample of reformulated gasoline on the SUPELCOWAX 10 column. Due to the polar nature of the phase, the aliphatics elute earlier than the aromatics. There is some overlap in the elution ranges, however it is not as severe as that exhibited by a nonpolar column.
