Biochem/physiol Actions

Ces enzymes coupent de façon aléatoire les liaisons glycosidiques β-N-acétylhexosamine-[1→4] dans l′acide hyaluronique, la chondroïtine et les sulfates de chondroïtine.
L′hyaluronidase dégrade l′hyaluronane et elle semble être régulée de façon anormale lors de la progression du cancer.

Prepared from aseptic filled solution of Type I-S.

One unit will degrade 0.75 μg of the polysaccharide hyaluronic acid per minute at pH 5.35 at 37 ºC (as measured by turbidimetric absorbance (λ: 600nm) when complexed with BSA after 45 minutes).

Enzymatic Assay of Hyaluronidase (3.2.1.35)

To measure hyaluronidase activity, a turbidimetric determination assay is used at 600 nm. One unit of hyaluronidase activity will cause a change in absorbance of 0.330 per minute at pH 5.35 at 37 °C.
